She spent nine years on the series, leaving in 1987. After that, she founded her own production company, Victoria Principal Productions, focusing primarily on dramas. In the mid-1980s, she became interested in natural beauty treatments, and in 1989, she created a line of skin care products called Chief Secret. The Principal went on to become the bestselling author, writing three books on beauty, skin care, fitness, fitness and health: The Body Principal, The Beauty Principal and The Diet Principal.
